LOSTPROPHETS WATKINS STARTS NEW CLOTHING LINE
6/18/2008 Ian Watkins of the UK's Lostprophets has begun a new creative project which he is calling "wearable art," a brand of artistically-designed clothing under the name of "Made in Hell". ALKALINE TRIO & NIKE OFFER LTD EDITION SPORT SHOE

The Alkaline Trio have teamed up with Nike to create the Heart and Sole Air Zoom Cush, a new low profile action-sports shoe. The shoe is available beginning June 27th exclusively at Jack's Surf Shop, and then July 11th elsewhere.

Converse has announced that in May they will be offering a Kurt Cobain Chuck Taylor shoe, hightop and lowtop style. Both styles feature Cobain's signature and artwork and scribbles from Cobains notebooks. The shoes will be available in both black and white, also. The company, which supports "diversity, equality and tolerance", is offering pendants, rings and bracelets in their beautiful collection, each piece featuring the word LOVE and a double trillion - a personal tribute to the late, great Freddie Mercury - as well as the "made in heaven" inscription. Prices range from $495. up to $20,000. for a pendant set with 2.0 ct diamonds.

2/8/2008 DEFTONES and TEAM SLEEP vocalist Chino Moreno has begun a new endeavor in the clothing industry. Apparently so many people ask him where he gets his great socks, he's started a new company, ChinoSox. ChinoSox can be purchased in 3-packs and 5-pakcs, and come in sizes for guys and girls. And best of all, so that you don't get these socks confused with any other run-of-the-mill socks... each pair of ChinoSox is stitched with the name ChinoSox on them. Sure to be a big seller, although hopefully with some of proceeds from sales Chino plans on investing in a better web designer.
